Customer service -- or lack thereof!
So today was kind of funny. Brent had to call Discover card to clear up some problems with our statement. We recently paid it off and closed the account, but to our suprise, still had quite a bit left on a new bill. To make a long story short, it turns out that Discover gave us some wrong info and didn't want to take responsibility for it. Brent and I weren't about to pay for it. Brent called up some rep and tried very calmly to work it out. It wasn't getting anywhere. I think they thought we were lying or something. Anyway, after close to an hour, Brent actually caught the rep saying something he shouldn't have. When Brent tried to talk to him about the "misunderstanding" the rep was so mad and frustrated that Brent kept asking him to stop interupting that the rep actually hung up on Brent! Brent was calm enough to call back and get it quickly resolved with someone else in 5 min. Discover card was probably very embarrassed with their rep's behavior and the 1st guy we spoke to will probably not have a job tomorrow. Brent should've been a lawyer... Adrianne and I always chuckle that our husbands can talk their opponent (for lack of a better word) in circles. I wish I had that ability!

This is true Chels. I am the one that gets mad quicker but believe me, when Mike gets mad, you better watch out.
Adrianne, has Mike hurt you? Has he ever hit you? You don't need to put up with that. You let me know when he does and I'll be in the next van to Midwest City to pick you and Willy up. You can have our basement.
I mean, the last time I hit Jen she left for a week and went to her folks' house. That was before Leah, so when she decided she wanted another kid, she moved back in with me.
