The Clark Family

Dum Dum De Dum, Dum De Dum Dum De Dum (Darth Vader music). Or you can simply insert your favorite ominous sound here. A funeral dirge would work also. Why? Because it is Mom's birthday. You know that primary song that goes, "one year older and wiser too...?" That song had to be written by someone who was at least 57 years old. I know that because they inserted that wiser part as a way to make themselves feel better about staring 60 in the face. Okay, I will stop picking on Mom now. I am closer to 40 than I am to 30 so I guess that I don't really have a leg to stand on. Of course, there is somebody else in our family who is going to offically become an adult in one month, isn't there Chelsey? 30 is a bit painful.

Anyway, I hope you have a great day, Mom. Maybe Dad will make you dinner (tuna and rice doesn't count, Dad). Happy Birthday!!

Yep, Happy birthday to mom! I agree with Jason regarding the tuna and rice thing. I think Dad's smarter than that though. I bet a clean house would be all she wants anyway!

And ha ha Jason! Don't remind me I have 1 month left until I officially must become an adult. I'm already having a nervous breakdown over it. Why does 30 seem scarier than 40 anyway?

Oh Chelsey, I bet you'll change that assessment when you get closer to 40. I'm currently much more scared about 40 than 30. I hope I actually accomplish something by then.

Jason,
I am wiser -- not because I'm staring 60 in the face, but because I survived you! :)

Thanks for the well-wishes.
