I'm glad you are safe.
Yesterday we had a storm system move through. It was very cold. We didn't receive any rain in Utah County, but they did get rain up north and there was snow at Parley's Canyon. Cokeville area got about 2" of snow. The weatherman said that as the system heads east, directed across Iowa and other upper Midwest states to expect 6-9" of rain over the next few days. While it was a relatively dry storm for us, combined with the Gulf stream, it may dump on you again.
Stay safe.
MomPapa Dochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03337270060077559317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18652393.post-63143960268673530622008-06-12T07:43:00.000-06:002008-06-12T07:43:00.000-06:00It is the Iowa River. There have been evacuations in all three cities as levees have given way and businesses have been flooded out. So far no one has lost their life though.

We did get a thunderstorm this morning that is petering out as I write but more is expected this afternoon. We are forecast to receive around 3 inches of rain today. Still, we are fortunate compared to so many people in WI and IN that have lost their homes and businesses. I hope the rest of you stay dry.Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03320251504885923411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18652393.post-4677191059016071192008-06-12T07:21:00.000-06:002008-06-12T07:21:00.000-06:00What is the name of the river feeding the Coralvil...What is the name of the river feeding the Coralville Reservoir? I can't seem to find it on Google Maps.

It looked like a line of thunderstorms was coming your way last night when I watched the news. Hope this didn't "break the bank" so to say. -JessJess and Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00080357342564530002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18652393.post-30134721518187723502008-06-11T20:09:00.000-06:002008-06-11T20:09:00.000-06:00Wow!
